Today I went out for my second bike ride since moving to Berkeley. Before I had only ridden to the grocery store once (which is like a half a mile away). But today I braved the 4-mile round trip ride downtown and it was actually a lot of fun. I had forgotten how much I love riding my bike. I was nervous because of the whole riding in an actual city, doing hand signals and all that but it was a big success. I doubt I’ll ever be one of those rockstar San Francisco bike riders, but I do alright.
I made it to the comic book shop to pick up my weekly haul in one piece and that’s all anyone could ask for.
